'It’s reckless’: Montana Medicaid revamp kicks off most at-risk, forces debt on providers

As a result of the unwinding process in Montana, scores of people who are receiving daily and residential social services contingent on Medicaid were dis-enrolled. That pushed their service providers into financial peril and raised questions about exactly how the Department of Public Health and Human Services executed the unwinding process.
