Sexual assault investigation into MSU detective dropped due to ‘insufficient evidence’
This is the second story I wrote last year about accusations of rape against a campus sexual assault detective at Montana State University. In my first story, I was able to reveal the accusations of rape by gaining the trust of a whistleblower inside the department over a course of a few weeks, which helped illuminate how the department was keeping it quiet. For this story I include below, I was only able to quote the alleged victim by staying in communication with her over the course of many months and gaining her trust along the way.
